September is a season of change—kids are settling back into school, routines are shifting, and many families are finding their new rhythm. At Adam’s Place, September also marks the start of Camp Cope, where children, teens, and caregivers come together to share their stories, build coping tools, and feel the support of community.
Grief doesn’t follow a timeline, and it often feels heavier during times of transition. One helpful tool for both children and adults is to create small, daily rituals of remembrance—whether it’s lighting a candle, looking through a photo, or sharing a favorite memory at the dinner table. These gentle practices help keep loved ones present in our lives while also giving space for healing.
As Camp Cope begins, we are reminded that no one has to walk through grief alone. This September, let’s lean into the power of connection, the importance of reflection, and the comfort that comes when we walk this journey together.
