As we welcome June and settle into the slower pace of summer, we want to take a moment to thank each of our incredible volunteers for the compassion, flexibility, and dedication you bring to Adam’s Place. While our calendar may be a little quieter during these summer months, the impact of your support continues to be felt by the children, families, and caregivers we serve throughout the year. This season offers a wonderful opportunity to focus on self-care, spend time with loved ones, enjoy activities that recharge you, and reflect on the meaningful difference you make in our community. Taking care of yourself is an important part of being able to care for others. As you enjoy the summer months, we encourage you to keep an eye on upcoming volunteer opportunities, special events, and fall programming as we begin preparing for another busy season of supporting grieving families.
Thank you for being such an important part of the Adam’s Place family!
We are grateful for each and every one of you. |

💙 Be the Heart Behind Camp Cope 💙
On October 24th, we will gather for our Camp Cope One Day Grief Camp—a day dedicated to holding space, honoring stories, building coping skills, and reminding children and families that they are not alone in their grief. And we need you to help make that possible!
If you feel called to support children through one of the most tender experiences of their lives, this is your moment. You don’t have to have all the answers—just a willing heart, a listening ear, and the courage to show up. We will walk alongside you every step of the way with the training and support you need to serve as a facilitator.
If you are ready to make a difference or are already part of our Camp Cope Facilitator family and would like to be part of this amazing experience, simply head to our website and complete a volunteer registration form and select One Day Grief Camp to get started.
✨ Know someone who would be amazing at this? Share this opportunity with them and help us grow our Camp Cope community. ✨
The impact of one day can last a lifetime.
Come be part of something truly meaningful. 💛

| As we look ahead to another season of supporting grieving children and families, we invite our amazing volunteers to help us continue expanding the reach of Adam’s Place. Donations and sponsorships play a vital role in making our programs possible, helping provide grief support resources, meaningful activities, special events, and safe spaces where children and families can connect and find support.
One of the most impactful ways you can help is by sharing our mission with your personal and professional networks. If you know of a business, organization, community group, or individual who may be interested in sponsoring an event, or making a donation, please consider sharing our information. Every connection helps us reach more families and strengthen the services we provide.
Thank you for being advocates for our mission and for helping us spread awareness throughout the community. Together, we can continue ensuring that no child or family has to navigate grief alone.

| As we move into the summer months, we want to thank each of our volunteers for the time, compassion, and dedication you bring to Adam’s Place. While Camp Cope is on break for the summer, the impact you made this spring continues to be felt by the children and families we serve. We hope you take this time to rest, recharge, and enjoy the season with family and friends.
We are excited to welcome everyone back this fall for another Camp Cope season and our upcoming One Day Camp Cope event in October. We also have volunteer trainings coming up, so if you know a friend, coworker, family member, or community connection who may be interested in supporting grieving children and families, please encourage them to get involved. Sharing our mission is one of the greatest gifts you can give.
Thank you for being part of the Adam’s Place family. We look forward to seeing familiar faces this fall and welcoming new volunteers into our community. 🧡 |

Our Camp Cope Facilitator Handbook Is Here! 📚✨
As we celebrate 15 years of impact supporting grieving children and families, we’re proud to mark a meaningful milestone—the publication of our first two books in the Camp Cope for Kids series.
We are excited to spotlight Camp Cope for Kids: The Facilitator Guide, a resource thoughtfully developed from years of hands-on experience, best practices, and the voices of the children and families we serve. This guide is designed to support facilitators as a training and reference tool, helping ensure safe, consistent, and trauma-informed programming across Camp Cope.
Packed with practical insights, activity guidance, and facilitation support, this handbook is meant to be a trusted companion—before, during, and after sessions—so facilitators feel confident and supported every step of the way. 💡
These books will continue to be used as part of Camp Cope facilitator training. Participants who train with Adam’s Place will receive copies as part of their training experience, and Adam’s Place volunteers will continue to train at no cost and have access to the books at their program sites.
We’re grateful to everyone who has helped bring this resource to life and to our facilitators who make healing possible for grieving children every day. 💛
