February is a month that reminds us of the power of love, connection, and community and at Adam’s Place, we see those values in action every single day because of you.Your compassion creates spaces where grieving children, teens, and caregivers feel safe to share their stories. Your steady presence reminds families they are not alone. Whether you’re facilitating at Camp Cope, supporting an outreach event, or helping behind the scenes, your time and heart make healing possible. As we move through this month, we’re grateful for the warmth you bring into every room and the hope you help nurture in every family we serve. Thank you for continuing to show up with empathy, dedication, and care. We’re so thankful you’re part of the Adam’s Place community. 💛🥞 Volunteers Needed – Clark County Fire Department Big Pancake BreakfastAdam’s Place has been invited to host an information table at the Clark County Fire Department Big Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, March 28, 2026, and we would love your help!📍 Location: 5865 Judson Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89156

📚 A Helpful Resource The National Alliance for Children’s Grief (NACG), in collaboration with the Coalition to Support Grieving Students, has released a new guide: Best Practices for School-Based Support Groups for Bereaved Students. While designed for school settings, this resource strongly aligns with the heart of our Camp Cope model at Adam’s Place. The guide reinforces many of the grief-informed principles our volunteers already practice—creating safe spaces, fostering peer connection, thoughtful group preparation, intentional communication with caregivers, and prioritizing facilitator self-care.We encourage all Camp Cope facilitators to explore this guide as a way to deepen skills, strengthen group structure, and continue providing the highest quality support to the children and families we serve.

Thank you for the care and compassion you bring to every group. 💛🔗 Access the full resource HERE

Our Camp Cope Facilitator Handbook Is Here! 📚✨As we celebrate 15 years of impact supporting grieving children and families, we’re proud to mark a meaningful milestone—the publication of our first two books in the Camp Cope for Kids series. We are excited to spotlight Camp Cope for Kids: The Facilitator Guide, a resource thoughtfully developed from years of hands-on experience, best practices, and the voices of the children and families we serve. This guide is designed to support facilitators as a training and reference tool, helping ensure safe, consistent, and trauma-informed programming across Camp Cope.Packed with practical insights, activity guidance, and facilitation support, this handbook is meant to be a trusted companion—before, during, and after sessions—so facilitators feel confident and supported every step of the way. 💡These books will continue to be used as part of Camp Cope facilitator training. Participants who train with Adam’s Place will receive copies as part of their training experience, and Adam’s Place volunteers will continue to train at no cost and have access to the books at their program sites. We’re grateful to everyone who has helped bring this resource to life and to our facilitators who make healing possible for grieving children every day. 💛
