As we close out the year, December often brings a mix of emotions—moments of joy 🎄, memories that tug at our hearts ❤️, and gentle reminders of those we miss. At Adam’s Place, we honor that grief can feel different during the holidays, and we want you to know you’re not navigating it alone 🤝.
This season, try a simple coping skill: take a mindful pause each day—slow breathing 🌬️, a cozy walk 🚶‍♀️, or noticing something that brings you comfort ✨.
We invite you to engage in a meaningful family activity this month, creating a “Memory Ornament” 🎁. Use a clear ornament or paper circle and decorate it with colors, photos, or words that represent someone special. It’s a heartfelt way to hold space for both love and loss while welcoming the soft light of the season ✨.
Wishing you moments of peace, connection, and gentle cheer as we step into a new year 🎆.
A heartfelt thank you to all the families who joined us for our
10th Annual Mrs. Claus Tea! ☕️
Your presence brought so much joy and warmth to the event, and we truly hope you enjoyed your time together. Seeing families connect, smile, and share in a little holiday magic made the day incredibly special. ❤️
We’re grateful to be part of your season and look forward to creating more meaningful moments with you in the new year.

🎒 Spring 2026 Camp Cope Is Almost Here!

We’re excited to welcome families back for our Spring 2026 Camp Cope sessions, where healing, connection, and resilience continue to grow week after week. Camp Cope offers a free, supportive, and structured environment for children, teens, and caregivers navigating grief to feel understood and surrounded by others who “get it.”

Through creative activities, meaningful conversations, and guided coping tools, participants have the opportunity to:

✨ Share their stories in a safe, confidential space
✨ Build friendships with peers who have experienced similar loss
✨ Learn healthy coping skills they can carry with them long after group ends

Our trained volunteer facilitators help ensure each session is filled with compassion, encouragement, and hope. If you or someone you know could benefit from the power of peer support, we invite you to register and join us this spring.

Register HERE and let’s continue building strength, connection, and healing together.

🌟 Make a Impact This New Year — Become a Camp Cope Facilitator! 🌟
Are you looking for a meaningful way to support grieving children and teens in our community? Join us on January 10, 2026, for our Camp Cope Facilitator Training — an inspiring, hands-on day where you’ll learn how to guide youth through healing, hope, and connection.

Our volunteers are the heart of Camp Cope ❤️. As a facilitator, you’ll help kids feel seen, heard, and supported during some of the toughest moments of their lives. Many families share that Camp Cope is the first place their child felt safe enough to talk about their grief — and that’s because of compassionate people like you.

Whether you're a school staff member, community partner, or someone with a big heart looking to give back, this training will equip you with the tools, confidence, and community you need to make a real difference.
