As we step into April, we are met with a season that gently mirrors the work you do each day—growth, renewal, and the quiet courage to begin again. In the context of grief, this time of year can be especially complex. While the world around us brightens, many of the individuals and families we serve continue to carry heavy, unseen burdens. Your presence offers them something invaluable: steady compassion in the midst of change.
We would also like to take a moment to pause and recognize the heart of our community—you. Whether you are facilitating groups, preparing materials, holding space for difficult conversations, or simply showing up with consistency and care, your impact is profound. You are not just supporting programs—you are helping rebuild lives, restore connection, and remind others they are not alone.
We know that healing does not follow a linear path. It unfolds in moments—often small, sometimes silent. A nod of understanding, a well-timed pause, or a compassionate reflection can become a turning point for someone navigating loss. Your ability to create emotionally safe spaces allows participants to process their grief at their own pace, without pressure or expectation. That is no small gift.
Your dedication, empathy, and commitment to this work do not go unnoticed. You are the steady light in some of life’s darkest moments—and that matters more than words can fully express.

💙 Be the Heart Behind Camp Cope 💙
On October 24th, we will gather for our Camp Cope One Day Grief Camp—a day dedicated to holding space, honoring stories, building coping skills, and reminding children and families that they are not alone in their grief. And we need you to help make that possible!
If you feel called to support children through one of the most tender experiences of their lives, this is your moment. You don’t have to have all the answers—just a willing heart, a listening ear, and the courage to show up. We will walk alongside you every step of the way with the training and support you need to serve as a facilitator.
If you are ready to make a difference or are already part of our Camp Cope Facilitator family and would like to be part of this amazing experience, simply head to our website and complete a volunteer registration form and select One Day Grief Camp to get started.
✨ Know someone who would be amazing at this? Share this opportunity with them and help us grow our Camp Cope community. ✨
The impact of one day can last a lifetime.
Come be part of something truly meaningful. 💛

As we wrap up our Spring 2026 Camp Cope season with one final session this April, we want to pause and say thank you. Your compassion, presence, and dedication have made this season so meaningful for the children and families we serve—we truly couldn’t do this without you. 💛
Looking ahead to our 2026–2027 Camp Cope season, our greatest need is clear—we are actively seeking compassionate facilitators for our Centennial Hills location. This community continues to grow, and so does the number of children and families in need of a safe, supportive space to process their grief.
The heart of Camp Cope is you. The steady presence, the listening ear, the quiet understanding you offer can make all the difference in a child’s journey. Right now, Centennial Hills needs more of those hearts to show up.
If you’ve been thinking about stepping into a facilitator role, this is your moment. And if you’re already part of our Camp Cope family, we would love to see you return this upcoming season.
✨ Know someone who would be a perfect fit? Share this opportunity with a friend, colleague, or someone in your circle who has a heart for helping others. Sometimes the right person just needs an invitation.
Together, we can ensure that no child in our community has to grieve alone. 💛

Our Camp Cope Facilitator Handbook Is Here! 📚✨
As we celebrate 15 years of impact supporting grieving children and families, we’re proud to mark a meaningful milestone—the publication of our first two books in the Camp Cope for Kids series.
We are excited to spotlight Camp Cope for Kids: The Facilitator Guide, a resource thoughtfully developed from years of hands-on experience, best practices, and the voices of the children and families we serve. This guide is designed to support facilitators as a training and reference tool, helping ensure safe, consistent, and trauma-informed programming across Camp Cope.
Packed with practical insights, activity guidance, and facilitation support, this handbook is meant to be a trusted companion—before, during, and after sessions—so facilitators feel confident and supported every step of the way. 💡
These books will continue to be used as part of Camp Cope facilitator training. Participants who train with Adam’s Place will receive copies as part of their training experience, and Adam’s Place volunteers will continue to train at no cost and have access to the books at their program sites.
We’re grateful to everyone who has helped bring this resource to life and to our facilitators who make healing possible for grieving children every day. 💛
