Description:
Suicide remains one of the leading causes of death in the United States, with alarming rates that continue to rise. Nevada, in particular, ranks 7th in the nation for its high suicide rate. The concurrent increase in opioid addictions has further exacerbated this crisis, making it imperative for healthcare professionals and community members to be well-informed and proactive.
This webinar will provide a comprehensive overview of the current suicide trends. Participants will gain valuable insights into effective assessment techniques, safety-planning, and the importance of appropriate referrals to specialized care. By enhancing our collective understanding and response, we aim to lower the risks and support those in need.
Join us to learn, share, and contribute to the effort of reducing suicide rates and promoting mental health and well-being in our communities.
