Third Thursday Adult Support Group – September 2026

Third Thursday Support Group
Adam’s Place Free Virtual Adult Grief Support Group
Topic: Turning Leaves, Turning Pages: Embracing Change While Honoring Love
As summer gives way to autumn, nature reminds us that change is both inevitable and meaningful. During this gathering, we’ll explore the transitions that grief brings to our lives, discuss ways to honor cherished memories, and reflect on how we continue writing our stories while carrying our loved ones with us.
Discussion Focus:Â Life transitions, adapting to change, and maintaining meaningful connections with those we miss.
Trained facilitators use different topics every month to start conversations and make connections within the group.

Who:
Dr. Clements has worked as a family grief and bereavement therapist for over two decades, supporting individuals experiencing many types of loss, including the loss of a child or spouse, extended illness, sudden death, and traumatic death.
Dr. Miranda Ramirez, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, CCHP, is an advanced practice registered nurse and dual-certified Family and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She brings her clinical expertise in mental health care and education, along with a compassionate approach to supporting adults navigating grief and loss.
Together, Dr. Clements and Dr. Ramirez believe that healthy grief is a journey, not a destination, and that having the opportunity to share experiences with others can provide meaningful support, connection, and insight along the way.
