Third Thursday Adult Support Group – October 2026

Third Thursday Support Group
Adam’s Place Free Virtual Adult Grief Support Group
Topic: Finding Light in the Gathering Dusk: Navigating Grief Through the Changing Seasons
As the days grow shorter and evenings arrive earlier, many people notice shifts in mood, energy, and emotions. Together, we’ll discuss how seasonal changes can affect grief, share coping strategies, and identify sources of comfort and light during times that may feel especially challenging.
Discussion Focus:Â Seasonal grief triggers, self-care, resilience, and finding moments of hope amid darkness.
Trained facilitators use different topics every month to start conversations and make connections within the group.

Who:
Dr. Clements has worked as a family grief and bereavement therapist for over two decades, supporting individuals experiencing many types of loss, including the loss of a child or spouse, extended illness, sudden death, and traumatic death.
Dr. Miranda Ramirez, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, CCHP, is an advanced practice registered nurse and dual-certified Family and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She brings her clinical expertise in mental health care and education, along with a compassionate approach to supporting adults navigating grief and loss.
