Adam's Place provides grief peer support groups, at no cost to participants, for children and teens (ages 5-18) and their caregivers through our Camp Cope Programs. Our programs are made possible through grant funding, private donations, and fundraisers. Camp Cope families are encouraged to support our programs by making a donation (large or small). Sharing your testimonial with our team and spreading the word about our programs, services, and fundraising efforts in the community, also help our programs remain sustainable for future generations of children and families.
Camp Cope Grief Peer Support Groups offer participants a safe and confidential environment to share their experiences, express their feelings related to grief, and develop healthy coping skills. Camp Cope is a peer support group model and is not group counseling or therapy. Camp Cope has a structured curriculum with themes and activities specially designed for each age group, led by trained volunteer facilitators. Peer groups are segmented into Littles (children ages 5-8), Middles (children ages 9-12), Teens, and Adult Parents and Caregivers. Camp Cope Programs are conducted at various sites throughout Clark County.
